Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

The Classic G-Shock Review

posted by on 26/07/2010

I’ve been wearing G-Shocks for almost 10 years now, it’s one of those time pieces that people of all ages rock. I know a lot of people may dismiss the iconic Casio watch for a cheap tacky solid plastic but they’re foolish and clearly don’t know enough about the brand. Since the launch of G-Shock in 1983 over 60 million of the watches have been sold in over 100 different countries. I’ll be reviewing the DW-6900 model, more on the flipside.

Zodiac Watch Review – Part 2

posted by on 21/07/2010

So Yang gave his take on the Zodiac ZO7300 a few days ago, ya’ll better have read it. Here’s my take on the beast of a watch, the ZO8507. According to the official Zodiac site it has an anti-allergic rubber strap, perfect. Sense the sarcasm? We headed down to the Royal Victoria Docks to shoot it, photos and more after the cut.

Inception | A DJB Recommendation

posted by on 20/07/2010

Now I don’t normally post about films but when I watch a film like the one that I watch today I’m left with no option but to write a compelling note regarding the film. Christopher Nolan is a name that people must get to know. He wrote, produced and directed this amazing film. All I can say to that man is congratulations and WOW! What a movie. Granted I had high expectations of the film considering the raving reviews some of my friends had given it but I was pleasantly surprised that the film lived up to those expectations and more.

Hugo Boss Bottled Night Review

posted by on 19/07/2010

Here we have Bottled Night, the latest cologne from Hugo Boss. The first fragrance I ever used was Hugo Man… I was indeed too young to wield that perfume! I’ve been using Black XS for several years now but I think I may have just found my next fragrance, read the review here.

Chanel Precision Hydramax Cream

posted by on 14/07/2010

This will perhaps be the most metrosexual post on the site because I’m actually reviewing a cream. Not just any ordinary cream, Chanel’s Hydramax . I’m not going to lie I make sure I don’t have any dry skin on my face before I leave home, you don’t want the ladies to catch you slipping. More after the cut.

Palladium Boots Review

posted by on 12/07/2010

I’ve had these boots for a few months but I didn’t really know how to incorporate the boots into my personal style. Palladium have been around since the mid 20th century but the brand recently relaunched with an infusion of new colourways and materials. They’ve been quietly tucked away in the corner of my bedroom for a while but in the past month I’ve started to become fond of them. I’m fairly positive they’ll become real popular this A/W season, full review after the cut.

Review: Chanel Allure Homme Sport

posted by on 07/07/2010

We’ve decided to start doing product reviews here at Y&Y and to kick things off I’ve chosen to review Chanel‘s men’s fragrance, the Allure Homme Sport. Considering I’ve been using the same fragrance for the past 5 years, it was a welcomed change to the norm. Review on the flipside.
