Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Hope ya’ll had a good Christmas and enjoyed the glorified festive eating contest, I know i did. I was going to headline this post with the a leak of Lupe‘s Lasers project but Wasalu himself asked many blogfiends to take the song down. So yeh, I’m not going to share it with you but I can tell you the song is dope. That’s all I’m going to say. More songs and videos after the cut.

Tinie Tempah – "Pass Out" Video

posted by on 23/12/2009

This tune is going to be massive, the beat is insane and it will most definitely blow on the radio and clubs. I’ve known about Tinie Tempah since my high school days when I used to be into grime, I’m sure everyone remembers his chipmunkified track ‘Wifey Riddim.’ All the youths used to play it on their mobile phones out aloud on the top deck of buses, don’t deny it! I know some of you used to do that. He’s come along way since then but has yet to break the charts but I’m sure he’ll do well with this single. Peep the official video for ‘Pass Out’ after the cut.

Kano – "More Than One Way" Video

posted by on 21/12/2009

Kano has taken a new musical direction and it’s definitely a good look. Especially since the last single which was full of auto-tune, made me wonder did he not get Jay-Z’s D.O.A.? but anyway, I am liking the video for this single too – it’s dark and deep just like the song. I hope he gets the commercial success he deserves and I’m not just saying that because he’s an EAST London boy too. E6! video after the jump.

Imma start of this week with a real dope song from Jay Electronica. Many of you have probably been sleeping on this dude’s music, he’s been on the internet for a good few years now but has yet to release a debut album. This track is supposedly off his debut record which is set drop early next year. Produced by one of my favourite producers, Just Blaze, always a pleasure to listen to his work. Links and more after the jump.

Omarion's Hoodie

Omarion’s new video is dedicated to the King of Pop; the song is a load of rubbish but i appreciate the video because the choreography is very well done – really sharp and the structure is somewhat reminiscent of a mixture of MJ’s videos (particularly ‘Bad’) with the morbid set design and synchronized choreography. I think a lot of Jackson fans will appreciate this, check it out.

Alicia Keys In Giant

posted by on 19/12/2009

Alicia Keys is looking hot gracing the cover of ‘Giant’ magazine. She also did a full feature shoot which you can view after the cut. Looking at the shots it looks like a totally different person, the close ups are definitely her but the full length ones are questionable, anyways check it out for yourself.

Flashback Friday

This week’s flashback tune is by Busta Rhymes & Janet Jackson (yes another Jackson tune): What’s It Gonna Be. This is one of them classic tunes from back in the day, everything was on point! The video is one of the most expensive videos ever made and the tune is hard, check it out after the jump.

Rihanna – Hard Video

posted by on 17/12/2009

Well it’s finally here, the video for Rihanna‘s 2nd single ‘Hard’ featuring Young Jeezy. It most certainly lives up to the hype. She’s definitely a good girl gone bad ass with the nipple stickers! I love her. I think my obesession with Riri is rather unhealthy. The video is HARD. They’ve rebranded her completely for her new album, she’s alot darker and angrier, we all know why. The video is full of couture-military fashion, loads of soldier-esque poses, death stares. People shouldn’t mess with this Bajan beauty. Peep the video after the cut.

Throwback Thursday

I’m on the MJ ting again after watching Move Like Michael Jackson all week. I don’t think I can ever get bored of his songs, he may be gone but his music will live forever. Anyway after the jump is probably one of my favourite songs by him, I’ve always wanted to chase a girl around like he does in the video haha.
