It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Bodean’s BBQ Smoke House does not mess around in the meat game, their kitchens go through a whopping seven tonnes of meat every week. Anyone seen Epic Meal Time? Well Bodean’s put them to shame. We’ll be making a few changes to the content on the site over the next few months, you’ll see what I mean when everything comes into fruition. So I headed down to  Mele e Pere for a meeting last week, which ended up being more of a feast rather than a lunch when we got started. Hop on after the reverse to see what the local Italian joint in Soho

Rock Tea @ W London

posted by on 08/12/2012

Aside from fried chicken eating, my other favourite foodie past time is afternoon tea. How very English of me, right? There’s just something about scones, jam and cream combination that does it for me. W London have put their own spin on it by taking influence from the Rock ‘n’ Roll era to create a rather unique selection of treats for afternoon tea. We headed down there last week to check it out. If y’all haven’t seen/been to the W then you’re missing out – in terms of design, both interior and exterior – it’s one of the best in the city. Situated in the heart of Leicester Square, it’s a tough one to miss and even tougher one to get to on a weekend.

Breakfast @ Electric Diner – Portobello Road

posted by on 04/12/2012

Oh boy, I’ve had 5 back to back early starts. Usually I’d fit in a lie in on a Friday night but an early morning shoot in a frozen forest ruined my sleep plans. However a breakfast invite to Soho House’s new food spot on the other side of London wasn’t one to turn down. Soho House Group have teamed up with Chicago chef and restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff to open the Electric Diner, next door to the Electric Cinema. I do apologise in advance for the lack of imagery, I had to leave my camera at home in order to attend a film premiere last night. More on the flip side.

If you work by Goodge Street, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road then you have to take a trip to yaki - a new Japanese bakery that has just opened up by my work place. The Tweet Shop: Kellogg's London Pop-Up Store

posted by on 30/09/2012

To mark the launch of their Special K Cracker crisps Kellogg’s took to Soho to open an experimental pop-up store where customers exchange tweets rather than money for their new product. Located on Meard Street The Tweet Shop boasts a snacking area and a community board, which is actually a screen with a live feed of the buzz being created in real time. The ingenious campaign is topped off with “Special K girls” in the signature red dresses that have become synonymous with the brand, who encourage customers to use the hashtag #tweetshop to post a review or comment in return for a free bag of crisps that would normally retail for 60p. Smart idea.
