Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

AllSaints – February 2015 Men’s Lookbook

posted by on 14/02/2015

AllSaint’s style a lookbook every month and you can shop the collection directly from it. What I love about this months is that it’s so clean but so relaxed. Standout pieces are the leather biker and leather bomber, but footwear comes through looking strong too. Don’t be put off by the grumpy looking model, check out the full lookbook after the cut.

TOMS One for One Bag Collection

posted by on 13/02/2015

We all have too much than we need. It’s a fact that we do not think about enough. And we should. And so should brands while they rake in their millions, instead of spending 4.5 of those millions on a 30 second TV ad during a sports game. Some brands already do their bit, though, and unless you’ve been living under a rock when it comes to brands being charitable, you’ll be fully aware that TOMS is right in the thick of things. Their One for One campaign has been going for a while now. Primarily known for their shoes, TOMS gives a pair of footwear to a child in need every time you buy a pair. Now with their new bag collection, TOMS tries to tackle another issue. The issue that each year, 40 million women give birth in unsafe conditions and without the help of a trained attendant. That’s scary to think about. See what TOMS is doing to combat this after the cut.

Michael Kors – A/W 2015 Lookbook

posted by on 13/02/2015

I know, we’re not even out of this winter yet and I’m sure your don’t want to be thinking about the next. But on the plus side, it looks like Michael Kors will be dropping an amazing Autumn/Winter 2015 Collection in a pretty monochrome colour palette, just how a like it. The collection is clearly military inspired, as well as taking influence from the sports luxe trend and being a little preppy. Now I just need to find some spare cash… Check it out, after the cut.

New Balance Spring/Summer 2015 996 MRL

posted by on 11/02/2015

It’s about time I got some new New Balance‘s, the only pair I own are a size too small. I’m loving the two tone/colour split thing these have going on and red just happens to be one of my favourite footwear colours. I dress in a way that suits my lifestyle, so any footwear I can wear to the gym in the morning and then for the rest of the day while working is ideal for me. Find out where you can buy these after the cut.

Levi’s Line 8 | Shoreditch Pop-Up Store

posted by on 11/02/2015

Iconic denim brand Levi’s is celebrating the launch of it’s new Line 8 Spring/Summer 2015 collection by opening a pop-up on Charlotte Road in Shoreditch, the store sits rather close to another couple of notable denim makers and will be located there for five months. The pieces are wonderfully minimalist and, as expected from such veterans in the denim game, high quality (I’m sure they won’t tear at the crotch like my Cheap Monday’s recently did). Nip down and invest in something that’ll last you for years, you won’t regret it!

The Kooples Sport | Spring/Summer 2015 Lookbook

posted by on 08/02/2015

We’re all aware of the Sports Luxe trend that has gained steam over the last couple of years, who’d have thought slim jogging bottoms and a shirt would ever be a viable combo. The Kooples Sport however are breaking new ground with this latest collection that I’m going to label Sports Grunge, I just made that up and it probably won’t catch on but check out the lookbook and I think you’ll see where I’m coming from. The skater and biker model are used to display leather sportswear, as well as baggy denim and unmistakable skater shoes, while the well known Kooples aesthetic remains. More after the cut!

DAILY PAPER Spring/Summer 2015

posted by on 29/01/2015

It’s been a while since a lookbook has made me utter even just a simple “ooo.” However this offering by Daily Paper, a Dutch brand based in Amsterdam, might even have produced an “ahh” in response to my “ooo.” The collection was inspired by Morocco and thus respectively shot their too. I’m impressed particularly by the styling and photography. While some of the shots may seem over exposed, I think it fits the clean aesthetic and distances itself from the typical dark and moody streetwear shoot you see repeatedly. Collection and lookbook after the cut!

Herschel Supply Co. | Spring 2015 Lookbook

posted by on 26/01/2015

Herschel Supply Co. never disappoint with their lookbooks. One of the only brands who have a consistently strong lookbook game. Location on point, strong visuals, spot on styling, oh and of course the bags aren’t bad either. For Spring 2015, Herschel take to Palm Springs, California to insert a piece of the desert in to their portfolio. Big fan of the collection this season, and it’s great to see Herschel to continue growing and adding to their styles. Check out some of the images and video lookbook after the cut.

Mercedes-Benz | A Fistful of Wolves

posted by on 19/01/2015

Fashion films… if you’ve worked on any then you will surely appreciate ‘A Fistful of Wolves’, you might even have given the green light to some of the overdone and melodramatic advertising-models Mercedes – Benz have shamelessly mocked in their latest film to celebrate Berlin Fashion Week 2015 (and promote their C111 car). From the deep and meaningless monologue to the “intense” walk in slow motion to the cliché (but effective) “model getting out of bed” story board; Mercedes have produced probably one of the best fashion films in a while. Watch as Justin O’Shea finds himself caught up in a series of fashion advertising’s finest clichés. Watch after the break.

New Balance | Flying the Flag Collection

posted by on 18/01/2015

We all enjoy things made here on home turf, especially if they bring influences from the UK in to the design and thoughts behind the product. For Spring 2015, New Balance ‘Flying the Flag’ collection features three pairs of Made in UK footwear that are inspired by the UK flag in the classic NB models of the 1500, 577 and CT300. Really like the simplicity of these, especially the 577′s. These drop in online stores Feb 1st, so keep your eyes peeled. More imagery and a video of the production after jump.
