Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Nike ACG continue to innovate within the technical apparel market with their latest collection designed to withstand spring in the city. The collection looks to be inspired by the urban explorer movement with its monochromatic palette and pieces that would fit right into the #teamcozy Instagram page. Fingers cross I get my hands on some of this. Check it out.

NikeLab | Lunar Huarache Light

posted by on 07/03/2015

Stop it Nike, just stop it. The sportswear giants just keep dropping one fresh design after another and my bank account just can’t keep up. This time the guys over at NikeLab have fused the huarache upper with the lunarlon sole in an all white and all black colourway. Both will be available from the 12th March and will likely sell fast. More after the cut.

Nike Flyknit Lunar 3

posted by on 05/03/2015

For a while now, trainers/sneakers have generally been my footwear of choice because they suit my lifestyle. I don’t work in a formal environment and I go to the gym every morning, carrying around spare shoes adds weight to my already heavy bag… Flyknits are always a clean shape and the Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 no exception, the ever reliable design is dropping in 4 new colours this March, so check out the latest selection after the cut!

Converse | Made by You

posted by on 02/03/2015

Footwear says a lot about someone, right? When it comes to sneakers, one sneaker in particular has always been a sort of self portrait of those wearing them. An extension of their character and their creativity. I am, of course, referring to the legendary Converse Chuck Taylor’s. If any sneaker is allowed to be called a classic, it’s the Chuck Taylor’s; withstanding the test of time since 1917. Made by You is a campaign from Converse celebrating the self-expression and experiences marked on these iconic sneakers. London-based artist Damilola Odusote has created an art installation in Shoreditch with the help of students from Central Saint Martins to bring this brilliant campaign to our home city. It’s open to the public, and you need to check it out. Read more after the jump.

Uniqlo Denim Line-Up S/S 2015

posted by on 25/02/2015

If you’re looking for great, affordable denim this Spring (which you are) then look no further than Uniqlo. The brand from Japan has hit us all in the face once again with a superb lineup of jeans and denim shirts. Great fits, great styles, great quality. Uniqlo have made selvedge more comfortable than ever, working hard on a brand new stretchy fabric that means you can look effortlessly cool in comfortable jeans that didn’t hurt the bank. And when I say that, I mean it. These beauties will set you back a mere £35. For men’s jeans these days, that is nothing. I got my hands on the slim fit dark selvedge (it’s not everyday skinny jeans) and they are wonderful. Check out some styles after the cut and be sure to pick up a pair in store.

nonnative Spring/Summer 2015

posted by on 21/02/2015

Japanese brand nonnative will be releasing a collection this season inspired by the city of Istanbul and to feature alongside their impressive lookbook, they’ve released a wonderful video filmed in the city. The collection doesn’t play a big part in the video, instead it blends into it, but this works well and avoids the clichéd fashion film look. Instead it becomes a story of a journey through Istanbul, a city we visited last year (A Trip To Istanbul). It’s fast paced but beautiful. Check out the video and lookbook shots, after the cut.

T.I. For Men Spring/Summer 2015

posted by on 21/02/2015

It’s pretty difficult to make out on the website, these guys need to get a better English copywriter, but I think T.I. For Men originated in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. A place I’ve heard a lot of positive things about. Anyway, the point is, the collection is cool. It’s simple and it’s preppy but I like that, the tailoring and the outerwear in particular looks really strong. I look forward to seeing where this brand are headed, check out the collection after the cut.

Publish Brand | Spring 2015

posted by on 17/02/2015

US based Publish Brand have just released the lookbook for their Spring 2015 collection, The Resistance, and it’s quite literally gravity defying. The shoot space is minimal and the styling is pretty dope, so I’m all about this. In their own words, “Publish exists to refine daily life by delivering premium, timeless products and ideas that transcend the realms of art and fashion.” With that in mind, check out the collection after the cut.

I Love Ugly | Spring 2015

posted by on 15/02/2015

I Love Ugly continue to impress with their latest drop of relaxed but technical and sophisticated apparel, as they put it, “good design needs room to breath.” The seem to have mastered the art of making garments that make a statement while remaining minimalist, and unlike some brands, they know how to shoot their stuff. I’ll definitely be making a purchase or two from this collection, check it out after the cut.
