This is insane, Hewlett Packard provides us with a miniaturized international tour of some of the world’s biggest cities such as London, New York, Shanghai and Istanbul. Its filmed using special tilt-shift photography on small and medium format cameras with selective focus which creates the miniature effect. After the jump.
I’ve never been a big fan of her personal style as shes always taken it that one step to far. Do you remember what she wore at the VMAs? but I like this Hansel & Gretel inspired shoot, styled by Marc Jacobs, she embodies the role of the witch. These breathtaking shots were taken by legendary photographer, Annie Leibowitz. They are quite reminiscent of the shoot she did last year for Disney’s “Year of a Million Dreams” campaign.
Great advice from New York-based photographer, 13th Witness aka Timothy McGurr, the son of legendary graffiti artist, Leonard ‘Futura’ McGurr. He’s worked with the likes of Nike, Jay-Z and my current idol, Levi Maestro. He is the genius behind the stop motion intro videos for Maestro Knows. After the jump are a selection of his dope photos and videos, enjoy!
‘Always make sure your memory stick is in the camera before you run out of the house. The best photo I ever took, was the one I never took.’
Being a student at LCC, I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by individuals that ooze with creativity. I guess it kinda rubs off on me as I’ve started taking photos myself and I want to get into video editing soon. Alexandra Chervotkina is a fellow student of mine and photography is one of her hobbies. Here’s a collection of photos shes taken in her spare time in London and various other cities across Europe. I’m really diggin’ the nightlife photography, check out her portfolio here.
You have all probably seen the M&S boobies ad and wondered who’s boobs they are. introducing Natalie Suliman, UK fashion model and girlfriend of Sunderland footballer, Kieran Richardson. After the jump for more photos of this chocolate beauty!
Stumbled across this rather refreshing photoshoot by Paco Peragin for Avenue Magazine. This is so avant garde, styled by Kattaca. I don’t know many fashion terms but after consulting my fashion designer friend, @NoniYolande one would describe this shoot as quite dark, renaissance inspired by Marie Antoinette with some gothic/futuristic/samurai/anime inspired touches. Lady Gaga who?
You’ve probably already guessed that I’m Indian. Last summer, I went back to the motherland with my family. I’ve been there a good 10+ times and i usually HATE it because all we ever do is visit ‘uncles’ and ‘aunties’ who aren’t actually my uncles or aunties but this time around it was different, we went places. I’m the kid that gets called kinder surprise/coconut/bounty bar but I embraced my inner Indian side. Anyway here are few photographs from my mowgli-like trip to the jungle!
