This won’t be an opinion on Dizzee Rascal and his music, but instead a little look at his latest video for I Don’t Need A Reason. I got sent this at work, and it thoroughly entertained me during my lunch hour. Nothing at all to do with the extremely attractive girls in the video (just something about that 19th century attire), but instead how it’s been made entirely GIF (and Vine) ready. Every scene is looped, meaning it can be easily cut up to make brilliant looped GIFs ready to be shared with the world. What a fantastic idea to get the video social, no? Working in social insights, I’m always fascinated at research in to how the online social world works, and here we get a chance to look at the best ways to get your content shared. I think we’ve all done a bit of social ‘plugging’ in our time of something we want to share with the world. But it’s becoming more and more evident that when and how this content is shared is increasingly important to its visibility and likelihood of it being shared again. And let’s face it, we wouldn’t post that new vlog, those new images, or that new piece of writing if we didn’t want as many people as possible to see it. O2 Launch 4G

As you probably may have heard by now, O2 have launched their super-fast (no word of lie, this thing flies) 4G network coverage. To celebrate the launch, O2 held the #O24G launch gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire and we were luckily enough to get invited along. Plan B headlined, with the brilliant Faith SFX supporting. To put the networks 4G through its paces, we used Samsung Galaxy S4′s to live blog, vlog and all the rest right from our seats. Plan B and his fans seemed pretty excited about the whole thing, as people snapped away and told their followers about what was a fantastic evening. Mega-productions are certainly up and coming in the advertising world. With the likes of Cartier raising the bar back in 2012 with L’Odyssée, Samsung killing it with a couple of gems for their Smart TV’s and VW China with this Tron-like visual effects overload for their Golf GTI. Now, a new leader emerges. Luxury fragrance brand Guerlain have just released this new (5:45 long) epic film to promote their new fragrance, featuring none other than the beautiful Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova. Think Final Fantasy meets Game of Thrones, featuring a legendary love story in India, it contains everything you might expect – from a long-haired, horse riding Khal Drogo lookalike to an incredible snow-covered, mountainous landscape. The visuals are spectacular, whether you appreciate the luxe brand advertising ways or not, and is well worth the watch after the jump.

O2 | YrStore Pop-Up Shop

It’s always a nice change to come across something innovative in an industry that can, at times, feel boxed in by a brick wall. YrStore, one of Boxpark’s latest pop-up shops, has climbed over those neatly stacked pile of bricks and has shown us how technology and fashion can combine to make buying a t-shirt covered in fries and cats (if that’s something that interests you) an easy and enjoyable experience. 1960′s Letterhead Typography

Chances are, if you do anything remotely creative in your job or hobbies, you’ll have a general liking for typography. The ability to make text visually pleasing has fascinated me for a while, so stumbling across this incredible collection of letterheads from the 1960′s was a pleasant discovery to say the least. Frank R. Mulvey, a practitioner and teacher in painting, drawing, photography and design, built up an extensive collection of graphic design on letterheads, brochures, catalogues, packaging and posters. Read on to see some amazing examples of the retro, vintage style typography and logos on display in the collection. Ink on paper has never looked so awesome.
