Two things sprung to mind when I first saw this photography series by Ward Roberts. The first was how much I liked the colour palette, which reminded me of that used by Wes Anderson, in particular in the film The Grand Budapest Hotel. The second was an admiration for the wonderful contrast between an almost empty space in the foreground and a very busy background, that almost merges into it. The court provides the open, empty, space, while each backdrop is full of straight lines going in all different directions. For some Sunday inspiration, check it out after the cut.
