Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

New music means new Eargasms. As ever we have selected a great array of new music that began circulating the waves of the World Wide Web this past week. Get into the musical goodness ASAP because we have selected a few gems.

Murci has done a great job reworking Tyrese’s ‘What Am I Gonna Do’ turning it from a standard RnB track into an Alternative RnB gem. His rework has even made me revisit the original and fall back in love with it. I’ve had this on repeat since I discovered it and feel it is my duty to share it with you.

Be Right

We all remember Asher Roth for the fratboy rap that he broke into the scene with. I haven’t really checked for him since that debut album 3-4 years ago so it’s nice to see his progression as a rapper. The new album is perfectly timed for the summer, happier hip-hop that gives me Foreign Exchange vibes.

Let Go

Here’s one to lose yourself in. Little Dragon never disappoint. Consistently brilliant, and ‘Let Go’ is no exception. Yukimi Nagano sings the Swedish band through four minutes of a wishy-washy atmosphere of spine tingling sounds. Cannot wait for their forthcoming album ‘Nabuma Rubberband’. Listen to this, enjoy and keep an eye out for that album

Same Page

Mya had been off my radar the longest time until I read an interview that she done a few months ago. Since then I have noticed that I have been hearing more and more from her. She released an EP not to long ago and now is back with another EP entitled Sweet XVI which I believe is sort of a celebration of the fact that it has been 15 years since the release of her debut single. Same Page is the first sing to be taken from this new EP and I can safely say that Miss Mya is back and I’m all for it.

Kid Cudi’s ‘Creepers’ is a firm recent favourite of mine, and my ears well and truly melted when I heard this Cold Clinical Love rework of the masterpiece. Cudi’s voice, the deep bass and the fantastically rough backgrounds make this so enjoyable to listen to. I look forward to hearing more from CCL

No one should really touch Sade to be honest. There are some things that just should not be tampered with however Jarell Perry may be an exception. His voice is his champion and probably the only reason why I’m going to allow him to continue with this tampering of the delectable Sade. It would be great to hear what else he brings to the table by way of some original music because his voice is everything.
