Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Nile Rodgers teams up with breakout UK acts Sam Smith and Disclosure to produce this funk-filled track. Nile’s signature guitar riffs combined with Sam’s falsettos with production from Jimmy Napes just kills it. Listen.

God Made You Beautiful

Finally we get to her new material from Beyonce, although it’s not one of her best. That being said it’s a nice tribute to her daughter, I mean who else can say they have a song written about them that is sung by Beyonce. I’m not going to lie though, I can hear Rihanna all over this track. It sounds like something she would record and honestly if she did record it and release it probably would be a smash hit (don’t judge me).

‘ve been listening to Moruf since his Garden State of Mind EP back in 2011. He has yet to be given his due for what was a fantastic piece of work. Moruf is a refreshing change from the trap crap we keep being polluted with in recent time, and brings lyrical talent that is delivered brilliantly. Homie.Lover.Friend is one of my favourites off his ridiculously good EP that he has just released. PLEASE, check it out and do not sleep on this guy. He is bound to blow up.

Christmas Night

Every year at this time we get a barrage of Christmas songs being revised and re-sung by the artists that choose to release a holiday album that particular year however some choose to gift the world with new xmas songs. K Michelle has chosen to give us a fresh take on a Christmas song by opting to stick to a traditional rnb instrumental without the added cliche jingle bells in the background. The lyrics are also surprisingly more sad than you would expect from the normal festive tracks. It’s a nice change. To be honest if she just changed a couple words she would have a song that could be released at any time of the year.

A new track from Jamie xx for you to sit back, relax and unwind to. This unreleased and untitled track is a well created soundscape with synthetic harps, rhythmic beats and vocals that combine with other elements to produce something that gets your head nodding. Looking forward to the new album coming from The xx in the near future.
