I had the pleasure of being introduced to this male fragrance in the most exciting of ways. Whisked off to the Luton Hoo where I dined in style, I was met by James Bond stunt driver Ben Collins, a.k.a The Stig, and presented with six gorgeous Land Rovers, our mission, off-road driving. Now what was the meaning of all this I hear you ask, well check out the full post for more details.

The fragrance is made up of two parts which come together to reflect Bond’s character, the two main accords, as they are called, being Raw Masculinity and Composure. From this hopefully you can understand the off-road driving task, a challenge that put us under great pressure and required Bond’s masculinity and composure to get through. The fragrance represents Bond’s confidence and his ability to keep his cool in any situation he is faced with, desirable traits for any man. Now when it comes to describing the particulars of the fragrance, I’m more of a writer and not a sniffer, so I’ll let the pro’s explain.
“The Raw Masculinity Accord in the fragrance drives reassurance, via a classic masculine groomed scent… Quantum opens with intensely potent Juniper Berries… with the resonance of Bergamot imparting an energizing citrus hit… The deep woods of this accord are consistently masculine in their scent character… The Composure Accord takes action to complement and invigorate Bond’s readiness, reflected through the Raw Masculinity Accord. The reminiscent scent of leather, a luxurious and robust material featured in Bond’s elite and exclusive sports cars, is a key component to the Composure Accord… Enhanced by fragrant Violet Leaf, the Composure Accord awakens the senses enabling men everywhere to keep their cool when the stakes are high.”
Now I was sceptical, as you may be, regarding a fragrance that is affiliated with the often gimmicky 007 series, however the shift in Bond films of late to a more serious tone has extended beyond just the films. This is a serious fragrance and I have been wearing it a lot in the weeks since I was first introduced to it. The bottle is nicely designed and reminds me of a glass decanter, its twist up lid is like a Bond gadget in itself and a quirky addition to a product that is not just for 007 fans.
The fragrance can be bought in stores now with prices beginning at just £20.
