Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Excuse My Rude

The Jessie J campaign has begun with the release ‘Wild’ and the introduction of her latest single ‘It’s My Party’. Although ‘Party’ has only recently been added to radio and it’s accompanying video hitting TV stations Jessie has already given fans a taste of some new music with the lyric video for ‘Excuse My Rude’ being places on her YouTube page. ‘Excuse My Rude’ is finally a glimpse of the urban tinge she showcased on her debut single and throughout her first album. It’s nice to hear having been fed a lot of pop material ever since the release of Who You Are.

The Way We Are

Aiden is back with new music following the release of his debut album Misty Eye. ‘The Way We Are’ is different from what we heard on his album which I feel is a good thing. Not content with staying in one musical lane it’s good to see that he is pushing forward with his career and choosing to experiment with new sounds. The Way We Are is taken from his new EP which is set to be release sometime soon.

After Dark

Mateo’s been around and about the scene for a while now but I’m sure most of my fellow UK folks have overlooked his music. His ‘Get To Know Me’ still gets constant plays on my iTunes – the lyricism and piano backing is on point. This new single is along similar vein with the lyricism and nostalgic vocals over ’80s synths.

Without You

Marsha Ambrosius released a stellar album in the form of Late Nights Early Mornings. I’ve played tracks from the album so much that my iTunes now shows a message “Not This Again” whenever a song of hers begins to play. Fortunately for me and my iTunes new music is on the way. First we had the unfortunately ill received ‘Cold War’ and then we had the beautiful tribute song Sky and now we have ‘Without You’. It seems Miss Ambrosius is finally ready to start her sophomore album campaign.

How 2 Rap

Kendrick Lamar seems to have lit a fuse resulting in an explosion of ghosts of rappers past crawling out of the wood work laying down verses in a response to what he said on Big Sean’s track ‘Control’. I’ve only heard few responses and I probably won’t listen to many more because I actually find these pressed insecure rappers a bit boring now, however this response from B.o.B I did enjoy.
