Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

River Island Park House Party

posted by on 06/06/2013

Saturday June 8th sees the launch of the new River Island Park House flagship store on London’s famous Oxford Street. The store will be the biggest in the River Island estate housing a large assortment of womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. To celebrate the store’s opening RI are sending an open invitation to consumers to come and enjoy a great shopping experience. Visit the store between 10am and 6pm and shop while you listen to sets from the DJs behind some of London’s hottest nights: Work It, Sunday Roast and Supa Dupa Fly. You’ll also be able to benefit from their in-store stylists who will be on hand to assist with outfit selection, enjoy bespoke cocktails and manicures from Barry M. The first 50 customers to walk through the doors will receive a FREE River Island gift card. In addition to this Park House Party taxis will be in around Oxford Street – take a ride up to the store and you could get a voucher for a free gift or a gift card to spend in store! All in all it seems like it will be a good day, hopefully we’ll have time to make it down there. See the full poster on the reverse.

Jason Hawkes’ Aerial Imagery of London

posted by on 05/06/2013

Super jealous of this photographer and his access to helicopter rides. There’s just something about London right? Concrete jungle where dreams are made of, LONDON. These past few days have been the happiest of the year, less moany and more smiley people because of the weather. Photographer Jason Hawkes specialises in aerial photography – a master at the craft and these recent photographs of London’s skyline are nothing short of extraordinary. The capital looks incredible from the heavens. Helicopter PR folks, hit me – I want to fly up there and shoot.

Last month I went to San Settimio in Italy with a group of  friends to work on Operazione Arcevia, a project that was originally initiated in the seventies, with the ethos of bringing together creatives from all backgrounds to collaborate. We created and implemented design interventions based on the needs of the local community.

River Islands Men’s Masterclass: Grooming

posted by on 05/06/2013

As men we previously had been misjudged as a collective that don’t look after ourselves properly when it comes to grooming. Of course you had the exceptions but as a whole we had been banded together as people that don’t care enough about that sort of thing. Over the years things have changed and in this modern day era men have become increasingly more concerned with the way we look and the way we present ourselves. From clothes, facial products, hair products and styles we take pride in it all so it’s only right that I bring to your attention River Islands Men’s Masterclass which is focused on grooming. Peep the video on the reverse.

Lookbook | Marks & Spencer Best Of British Autumn/Winter 2013

posted by on 05/06/2013

It’s not often I admire the fashion of Marks & Spencer however their latest Best of British Autumn/Winter 2013 Lookbook has me looking at their fashion assortment in a whole new light. The one thing I have learned over the years is that although things may look good in pictures, pictures cannot not display quality. This means that I will have to go into store and check this collection out up close and personal to see if it really does live up the standard I have placed upon it. Hopefully it will. Peep the lookbook after the cut.
