They say you learn something new everyday and today’s life lesson is that Peter Werth is from Islington. You are welcome. So what is the N1 Project you ask. Quite simply, it’s a photography based campaign that aims to highlight Peter Werth’s heritage by featuring what they have described as Islingtonians. They run local establishments but most importantly, they are proud members of the local community. More after the break.

They’ve included a fishmonger, puppeteer, barber, market stall owner and more- all styled in Peter Werth. Each piece is presented in the format of a profile complete with a few words from the Islingtonians themselves; cleverly orchestrated imagery, the photography is crisp. I love the juxtaposition at the Fish Mongers, quality. This is a great campaign, it’s not ground breaking but it’s nicely executed even though it’s annoying that you can’t read some of the copy on top of the images ¬_¬
It works well with the brand’s image and of course it’s great that these local businesses/people get a bit of exposure too. There is also a short campaign film, which you can watch below. It’s quite a simple montage featuring each of the Islingtonians in their respective locations- I like the typography and graphics that they’ve added too.
