Uh oh, there’s nothing like a bit of healthy competition to kick start the year. For years both of us have yearned to get fit and healthy, you know 6 packs and all but it’s never happened due to our excuses. The past few months have seen us become a little bit more fitness orientated and the good folks at Nike have given us a pair of FuelBands to see which one of us comes out on top. Bare in mind that both our jobs require us to be sat around a computer for most part of the day and outside of work, we run Y&Y. More time in front of the computer (I would say Mac but he uses Windows!), yay! for us. More on the reverse.

For the next 7 days, we’ll be keeping track of our daily Fuel points via the Nike Plus and the FuelBand iPhone app so we’ll find out the winner on next Wednesday. We’ll update you guys during the week with what we get up to and how much Fuel is accumulated. Although I’ve had the original black FuelBand for over half a year, it’s not till a few months ago that I started using it properly when my colleagues at work added me on Nike Plus.  A little bit of competition goes a long way, it certainly makes me walk up the escalator at Oxford Circus as opposed to standing still.
