So with us all just brushing the dust of 2012 off our shoulders, I think I’m not alone in saying that our timelines, inboxes and conversations have been filled to the brim with esoteric motivational quotes that seem to go hand in hand with unrealistic new year’s resolutions which together end up making a baby that simply gets named ‘failure’.

Last year I accomplished not more than I thought was possible but things that were not on my radar. There seems to be something about opening up your third eye to anything, which allows you to experience everything. One thing I believe that will allow me to absorb more in 2013 is ‘Consistency.’ I struggle with repetition and routine but through these two ‘r’s the main one; Riches are reached.
I’m not even Ne-Yo’s smallest fan, let alone biggest one. But anyone with eyes has to appreciate and then should want to imitate his hustle. In this world which is jam packed full of creative people trying to make their mark on the world, it’s easy to forget which things will work in your favour. Watching this video reminded me of why I run thirteen miles, do 100 burpees and hill sprints…as a warm up. Because life is the workout. And to make it the best we have to commit to being consistent.
The goal is not to chase the world. But be so fit, fast and on fire, that the world has to chase you.
