Since 2000, net-a-porter.com has become something of the go-to for high fashion clothing. As the first luxury fashion site to hit the internet there was a real calling and demand for what the site had to offer and the new direction it gave online shoppers. Twelve years on and the reports all look stellar for net-a-porter yet they’re set to begin another project within the next twelve months. The site already offers a weekly digital magazine, which makes sense given their online appeal but they’re now looking to launch a print magazine. Admittedly, few people complain when a new magazine hits the shelves, but with a million high fashion magazines already on offer it begs the question, does net-a-porter really have something new to offer? We can only wait and see.
