Levi's Vintage Clothing 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook
posted by Yin on 28/12/2012
Levi’s are easily one of my favourite brands, a mega-brand up there with the likes of Nike. It’s dominance in the world of denim and workwear is unprecedented – a cut above the rest. Levi’s sub-division, Levi’s Vintage Clothing released its latest lookbook for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013. We don’t post as many lookbooks any more, mainly down to the fact that it’s become a really saturated digital content space and a lot of brands have just been doing the same old thing. It’s nice to see Levi’s have strong theme to theirs, a trip to America’s Death Valley to find inspiration from the sensibilities of a miner’s life. More on the reverse.

The collection consists of shirts, jumpers, coats, and denim feature in the range, with a strong theme of mining workwear. I’m most impressed by the imagery, it’s a got a vintage Americana feel with the styling too. The grading is just perfect, it’s neutral with a mixture of noisy B&W shots which look like they were taken on a 35mm.
Stars & Stripes.
Stunning. Lana Del Rey vibes.
