The People of Myanmar

A great deal of beauty exists on our planet, often it can be found within communities and within the individuals that they’re made up of. Amongst all the talk surrounding a series of recent tragedies and the media spectacle that ensued, one wonderful quote regularly reappeared, “I am always comforted by realising that there are […]

Drivin’ Round

Wu-Block hook up with Erykah Badu and Wu-Tang members, GZA and Masta Killa on this soulful Hip Hop joint titled, ‘Drivin’ Round’. A meeting of the lyrically elite, Wu-Block is made up of Ghostface Killah (Wu-Tang) and Sheek Louch (D-Block) who have just released their self-titled album. This track features an tingling, smokey hook by Erykah Badu and a range of rap styles from each of the Hip Hop heavyweights. Produced by Termanology, this is definitely one for the late-night cruise crew!

B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe (Kendrick Refix)

A friend of ours, Joel Baker is back with a new music. Refixing one of Hip Hop’s biggest songs of the year from the man himself, Kendrick Lamar. Before clicking play, I was a little apprehensive about what to expect. It’s one of my favourite songs off Good Kid M.A.A.D. City and Joel certainly does it justice. Click play. Bet you never expected this kind of vibe.

Daen has delivered a drum and bass meets speed garage throwback tune, ‘Miles‘ comes from her Christmas EP which came out out yesterday. As usual, her vocals are on point and Druski’s production is crisp. I look forward to GoldenHeart in January.

Cold War

Marsha Marsha Marsha F’ing Ambrosius! She know how to make music, fact. No one can deny her talent and when said talent is coupled with the equally brilliant gifts that possess Diplo we are gifted some musical greatness. Need i say more?

Look Good With Trouble

Man, this song off Solange’s newest EP- True is a beauty. It’s only a minute and a half long but her sultry vocals remind me of an old school Janet Jackson song. The whole EP is worth downloading – click here.

By now I think y’all get that I love me some Jojo. Back again with another hit to appease her long awaiting fans. Taken from her upcoming mixtape AgapeAndre‘ is said to be some what of an ode to the one and only Andre 3000. She shares her love and admiration for the quirky rapper in a way that she know best, through song. Play it, Listen to it, Love it!

Care Package is the mixtape being brought to us by Maybach O. For those asking who the hell Maybach O is let me fill you in. Maybach O is a nickname Omarion has adopted since signing with Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group. Omarion has stated that Care Package is his first steps in introducing the new him to the world before he releases his forthcoming forth studio album. ‘Admire’ is the first single to be lifted from Package and sees O mixing it up with Problem and the ever brilliant Tank. This is by no means great but it’s nice to hear something new and slightly different from Omarion. I just hope he can deliver some fire with this next album, we all know he needs to!!
