Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Casey Neistat – DO MORE | Nike

Without A Goal, You Can't Score

Gah, brilliant. Nike has been brilliant at tapping into digital brand ambassadors and Casey Neistat is definitely one of them. The film maker and director was asked by the Swoosh to create a film about earning Fuel Points which requires him to be active. In true, Casey fashion – he decides to head to the airport without tickets and travel the world on a highly active adventure across the globe 5 days. Result = A bazillion Fuel Points earned through a various activites in a plethora of countries. Perfect timing with 2013 around the corner – what will you be DOING MORE of? Anything can happen. Make it count. Happy New Year folks!

Mr. Porter – The Reinvention | Short Film

Mr. Porter - The Reinvention

Let’s be honest, how many of us can afford to regularly shop on Mr. Porter? There’s items on the site that cost more than my monthly salary. Alas, I frequently visit the site for one primary reason – the visual inspiration. Usually the beautifully shot photography features with various actors and models, each one has a distinct theme which is always refreshing. They’ve switched it up this time around with a new feature; their very first short film starring Michael K Williams of The Wire and Boardwalk Empire fame. As always, Mr. Porter never fail to impress with their visuals – it’s a masterpiece with strong narrative on the concept of personal style. Watch on the reverse.

Komono: Wizard Print Series

Komono- Wizard Print Series

Patterns have been all over the fashion scene, particularly high street fashion, over the last year and they look like they’re going to stick around. Komono has got everything from camo to floral to leopard print designs in their Wizard Print Series and my favourite part is that your not talking Rolex prices. This rising brand has had my attention for a while with their modern and punchy style, I feel they have a good ability to make something eye catching but fairly classic and simple. They’re not as garish as the brick-like G-Shock but still casual enough to wear day to day, they have a real “street style” feel. I picked up a Komono watch a year ago and I have worn it almost everyday since I got it, they really have a great range of designs. Take a closer look to check out this collection and have a read of the Komono ideology.

Levi's Vintage Clothing 2013 Spring/Summer Lookbook

Levi's Vintage Clothing 2013 Spring Summer Lookbook

Levi’s are easily one of my favourite brands, a mega-brand up there with the likes of Nike. It’s dominance in the world of denim and workwear is unprecedented – a cut above the rest. Levi’s sub-division, Levi’s Vintage Clothing released its latest lookbook for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013. We don’t post as many lookbooks any more, mainly down to the fact that it’s become a really saturated digital content space and a lot of brands have just been doing the same old thing. It’s nice to see Levi’s have strong theme to theirs, a trip to America’s Death Valley to find inspiration from the sensibilities of a miner’s life. More on the reverse.

Everlast - Greatness is Within Variable

I said we wouldn’t post for a few days seeing as it’s the festive period but I can’t take a break like that. Found myself up doing freelance stuff last night, no time for breaks – just yet. I stumbled across a new piece from Variablethe guys behind the stunning Holi film have released their latest work for boxing brand Everlast. It’s an inspiring piece on boxer Deontay Wilder’s story and his motivation to be the next great heavyweight. Fuelled by love and compassion for his daughter, Deontay’s story has been beautifully portrayed with breathtaking cinematography. They’ve done it right. Watch on reverse.
