Ah all of you already know about my love for wedding photography and cinematography. It’s always been for the love-filled and slightly cheesy visuals. Velare Imaginarium, a couture cinematography team from Colorado create short films for weddings are really something else in comparison to others I’ve seen in the past, it’s quite avant garde (trust me to use a cliché term). They have quite a distinct style of filming in comparison, choice of non-cheesy soundtrack and grading. The colours aren’t warm as you’d expect weddings to be playing on the theme of loe and all. More on the reverse.

There aren’t even many moving shots, most of the frames are composed of beautifully bokeh’d blended together perfectly. The slow-mo visuals just flow rhythmically with the backing track. It’s kind of like a Sigur Ros track if you know what I mean. Click play below.
Love. It’s made me want to experiment with film soon, just experiment as I’ve got photography to master first.
I won’t share any more on here, head over to their site from the links above. It’s magical, you’ll be distracted for hours but will definitely be left inspired.
