Good afternoon! Look out for National Gallery’s debut of ‘Seduced By Art’ this Wednesday, should be impressive! Also, on Friday, our mates over at We Are S.M.E are having a Halloween Hip-Hop party at their usual spot: East Village. Dress up as a ‘hip-hop zombie’ for half off your entry. This sunday at Hoxton Square, enjoy some live music and more as ‘Unplugged’ makes a return- sets by Shakka, Von Majik and others. More after the break

Hannah Sawtell: Osculator @ ICA
Ending 18th November
Hannah Sawtell’s exhibition, Osculator, transforms the ICA Theatre into a space that positions the viewer between a large-scale video collage and a multi-panel acoustic receptor. All of the material used by Sawtell in the installation is sourced from the internet, with the intention of exploring the physical and virtual dimensions of surplus capital, pairing the seductive language of advertising with the new technologies of excess and access.

W London Leicester Square Presents: Human Jukebox
BIGkids
(new band) will take over W London – Leicester Square with a unique interactive music experience – the first ever Human Jukebox in a hotel. Named as ones to watch by GQ and the Guardian, BIGkids will be available in W London from mid-afternoon, through to the following morning for hotel guests and visitors to call upon to give exclusive performances of a selection of Jukebox hits. The band will play on request from a set song menu, performing live wake up calls and giving impromptu busking performances around W London.  So whether a guest fancies Bowie in the bath, Walking This Way in the W Lounge or even some Specials in Spice Market over dinner, BIGkids will be on hand to play to their musical whim!

Seduced By Art @ National Gallery

The exhibition explores early photography from the mid-19th century and the most exciting contemporary photographs, alongside historical painting. It takes a provocative look at how photographers use fine art traditions, including Old Master painting, to explore and justify the possibilities of their art.

RA Now @ Royal Academy of Arts

The Royal Academy presents RA Now, a major exhibition and sale which will see the work of current Royal Academicians including Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley and Grayson Perry exhibited alongside work by Honorary Royal Academicians Frank Gehry, Cindy Sherman and Anselm Kiefer among others. Showcasing the rich diversity of the current membership, RA Now offers a revealing snapshot of the Royal Academy today.

We Are S.M.E Halloween Hip-Hop Party @ East Village
Dress up as a Hip Hop zombie and get 1/2 price entry all night! Think Basketball Jerseys and SnapBacks accompanied by severed limbs and a bloody stab wounds. Expect the usual madness from SME parties, all to the soundtrack of the biggest Hip Hop and Grime tracks, both old and new school.
