I saw this advert at the cinema yesterday while waiting for Taken 2 to get started, it had me captivated through out trying to figure out which brand was behind it and why it was relevant to their product/service. Pro skaters Killian Martin and Alfredo Urbon skate together on a customised skateboard throughout the minute and a half long advert. It’s the slow-mo that really seizes your attention, almost mind-boggling trying to figure if this was done using CGI or for real. The viral short was actually for Smart Car’s new campaign, playing on their slogan of ‘made for two’. Makes sense ey? I won’t be buying a Smart Car soon but the  skills of the two skaters certainly wow’d me. Watch after the cut.

Dope right? Ben Newman of Pulse Films shot this film in Barcelona. Love the location, the modern architecture in the background is a nice touch. Grading is on point!
