We sat down for a coffee with the London-based photographer. There’s even a 2 Chainz reference.

NFL Takeover At Nike Town London

posted by on 26/10/2012

Honestly, this year has been all about sports in London. England even. We’ve actually won a plethora of titles and not too mention hosting the BEST Olympics ever (might be a bit of bias in there). I’ve been proudly representing my future home nation with. their NBA jersey ever since, it’s been my lazy day look for the past few months since returning from the US. The west coast jock look has somehow made its way into my wardrobe, quite surprising ey? for someone who’s been an advocate of the ‘grown man’ etiquette look. I’ve always been fond of the Letterman jacket but never had thought I’d be wearing jerseys again any time soon. So the Americanisation of UK continues with NFL taking over London with this Sunday’s game at Wembley. More on the reverse.

In an age where it’s all about digital platforms and real world shops dying – it’s always nice to see a brand invest and create such a dope in-store installation. Nike’s visual merchandising has always heads and shoulders above other retailers at its London flagship. If I’m correct, this is probably the best and widest selection of NFL gear that has been available in the UK. Jerseys will be available there for a week or so – £70 a pop. It’s a decent price, quality is way thicker than that of a Football kit. So who’s going to be watching the Patriots vs Rams on Sunday?

Manning! We’ll show you how to rock these jerseys more casually over the weekend.

Such perfect lighting for the last shot.
