On October 26^th Windows will finally launch the long awaited Windows 8 operating system on PCs, laptops, tablets… the works! The new operating system boasts a much slicker interface than its predecessor putting windows in a better position when being compared to Apple’s iOS. News features include: new touch enabled features, live tiles (which lets you run two applications simultaneously) and Skydrive integration to name a few! After the break is the official promo for its release, a simple composition highlighting all of the systems USPs and new additions. It’s a nice video, does what it says on the tin and all the colours make for a fresh offering. However, I loved their ad for the Windows Phone 7 so much that I did expect something along those lines. Anyways… following the untimely passing of my Macbook at the hands of pineapple and coconut juice, I’ve been using a Dell XPS (which is pretty great) – I’ll surely be upgrading!
