The saying goes “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” and Gant have certainly stayed true to this quote for their new lookbook. However I think they should have changed up the game just a lil bit. If memory serves me right the last time I brought a Gant Rugger lookbook to your attention they had the same setting as they have for this lookbook. The only difference is that the back wall is now a beige colour instead of the grey it was in the 2011 Pre Autumn Collection lookbook, see here. I’ve talked about how a lookbook can make or break my interest in a collection and quite frankly what Gant have to offer is too boring for words. Digging beyond the surface and actually taking the time to look at the clothes on offer rather than sitting here in disgust at the creatively stifled lookbook I can say that a few pieces have caught my eye. Take a look after the cut to see if anything is to catch your eye. Window shopping is always fun :)
