Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Man, we’ve been slacking on the Eargasms front. It’s been over 2 weeks since the last one, I blame myself for being away last weekend. Alas, we shall not dwell – hop on after the cut and click play.

Losing You (Solange Remix)

I’m sure most of you have come across this young Swiss producer’s work in the past, I kinda slept on it till one of my work colleagues posted it on my Facebook wall. We have this no R&B policy at work which sucks but I can see why – post 00s music just hasn’t been up to scratch. Cyril has completely flipped reversed these R&B tracks with a house vibe, it’s perfect to work to. Kinda gives me the mellowed out XX sound minus the depressing vocals.

Seeing as we’re quite short of music this week, I’ve attached two more of his songs below. They’re even better than the one above.

Say My Name (Destiny’s Child Remix)

Easily my favourite. He’s completely changed the original.

Touch My Body (Mariah Carey Remix)

Chrisette Michele is back with her latest song ‘Charades’ which is taken from her upcoming Audrey Hepburn: The Mixtape project. The song features the ever present 2 Chainz, he opens up the song with an awful into but thankfully it doesn’t last long and Miss Michele steps in and takes over. Right now i’m in love Chrisette Michele and have reintroduced myself to her music. I can safely say her track ‘Goodbye Games‘ is my favourite song at the moment, it gets rinsed at least 10 times a day. The music video is dope too! … anywho back to the present, ‘Charades’ and the Audrey Hepburn: The Mixtape project are a gift to tie fans over until Michele is ready to release her new album Better as a follow up to her 2010 album Let Freedom Reign. Enjoy!

Boom, a bonus cut off the Weeknd’s upcoming project ‘Trilogy’. Abel uses the lyrics and sample from the Smiths song ‘Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want’  and it’s a pretty perfect fit for the song. Enemy is all about the Tesfaye’s vocals – crisp and clean, almost sounds a little bit like MJ in parts. “Girl I’m just trying to make you ____ without a word’ – I’ll leave you to fill in the blank.
