Do you like black and white? I do!! There’s something about a black and white picture that when done right i.e composition and lighting just looks simply stunning. I feel that monochrome images are able to portray emotion much better than colour images. There’s beauty in seeing everything that is needed to be seen but only in essentially one colour. Black and white pics are simple yet complex at the same time. Peep this short video from filmmaker Callum Preston entitled Why Mono?. It aims to understand why people still have this affinity with black and white pictures, why is it still so popular? Oh how I do love a bit of black and white :)
