Mind The Art @ London Transport Museum

Mind the Map: inspiring art, design and cartography will draws on the Museum’s outstanding map collection to explore the themes of journeys, identity and publicity. The exhibition is the largest of its kind and includes previously unseen historic material and exciting new artworks by leading artists including Simon Patterson, Stephen Walter, Susan Stockwell, Jeremy Wood, Claire Brewster, and Agnes Poitevin-Navarre.

This major photography exhibition surveys the medium from an international perspective, and includes renowned photographers from across the globe, all working during two of the most memorable decades of the 20th century. Everything Was Moving: Photography from the 60s and 70s brings together over 400 works, some rarely seen, others recently discovered and many shown in the UK for the first time.

B.O.B Live
B.O.B will be performing at the indigo2 this Friday, expect tracks such as ‘Nothing On You’, ‘Airplanes’ and ’Magic’, taken from his debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray in 2010. See him also perform tracks from his latest album Strange Clouds which includes ‘So Good’.

BP Saturdays: LOUD TATE @ Tate Modern
In collaboration with Punchdrunk Enrichment, Tate Collective present their latest event, inspired by the BP British Art Displays at Tate Britain. Alternative Perceptions will take you closer to the art and artists of Tate through an eclectic programme of cutting edge music, art and performance. Immerse yourself in new work by electronic sound artist Matthew Herbert and DJs Actress & Moire, live music from Purple Ferdinand and a spoken word performance by Kate Tempest. Plus, graffiti knitting art collective Knit The City will be bringing yarnstorming to Tate Britain.
