Boom. ASOS Black and Puma have finally unveiled their full length film ‘Os Pixadores‘ after a week or so of heavy paid promoting across numerous sites and blogs. It’s the UK retailer’s biggest menswear campaign since BBH’s self-promoting Urban Tour campaign which wasn’t the best in terms of functionality yet it managed to win awards for it’s design, sigh. They’ve teamed up with Puma to create a stylised documentary based on the heart of the Pixadores culture which is an emerging subculture in Sao Paulo based around graffiti art-form. Most of the artists are young people who have been ignored by society who are looking for a way to give themselves a voice. More on the reverse.

Incredible watch, the grading of the film adds to the rawness of the film. London-based film maker Ben Newman and his crew travelled to Brazil to follow various Pixarodes artists as they paint their localities with their distinctive tags.
