Evidence Of Things Unseen

FAITH. I have featured Salomon Ligthelm‘s work over and over again, why? because he’s just that good. If you follow him on Instagram, you’ll realise why he’s one of the best – most of his IG imagery are better than most people’s photographs on a SLR. His creative eye is something else and you’ll see why after the cut. It’s been a while since his last short and this narrated short based on a biblical scripture was certainly worth the wait. The combination of the voice over and the slow build up through out the piece visually and musically works wonders. I’m not sure what the track is, probably created it himself but it’s very reminiscent of Sigur Ros. Perfect music for the New Zealand mountain scenes, watch on the reverse folks.

Beautifully shot and put together. Favourite part? All of it – from the hair moving in the wind to the blurry scene and the shaky shots. Just so good.
