We can’t escape technology, its everywhere. Whether we like it or not our lives have been infiltrated on mass by technology through numerous products. The latest everyday house hold item to get a technological upgrade is the humble lightbulb. Kickstarter have unvield their latest project, a project which sees them aiming to reinvent the lightbulb. Following trail and error they have finally settled on design, components and functionality and are able to present to us LIFX. To put it simply “LIFX is a WiFi enabled, multi-colour, energy efficient LED light bulb that you control with your iPhone or Android.” More details on the flipside.

Through the use of your smart phone LIFX enables users to control brightness, colour and is even able to visualise music. The power is completely in the palm of the users hand. No longer do we have to get up off the sofa to switch a light on or off, isn’t this just great :)
