Throwback Thursday

posted by on 16/08/2012

Ah, this one will take you back to your childhood. The song randomly popped up in my head whilst on a coach to Vegas, started a little sing-a-long with my other half before we discussed the positive message in it. I bet you never paid that much attention to the meaning behind the lyrics as a child, who still remembers the words though!? I certainly do. Hop on after the cut, click play & sing along.

Supremebeing AW'12 | Menswear Preview

posted by on 16/08/2012

Confession: I have the tendency to be drawn to brands with cool names (maybe its a hint at their creativity…maybe I’m just weird) and its to great relief when these brands honour their cool affiliation with an impressive collection. One such brand is british street culture collective Supremebeing. Peep the AW12 video and lookbook showcasing this season’s key styles after the cut…

posted by on 15/08/2012

nike hyperdunk

Last week, Nike’s dope Shoreditch trainer-spot-cum-social-space 1948 launched the Nike Hyperdunk + by inviting 30 guests to see how high they could jump in the new basketball sneaks, giving the highest jumper the chance to win a box of goodies including a pair of the Hyperdunk+ kicks, Bose headphones, an iPod and a Ice Nike Fuelband (pimpin). On Sunday before being whisked off to the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony (more on that very, very soon) I got to see some people trying to beat the top score in the finale. Check out some snaps below.

The New London Taxi

posted by on 15/08/2012

ICONIC is the word that springs to mind when talking about London‘s Black Cabs. Much like Big Ben, our red buses, postboxes and Tower Bridge the Black Cab is unmistakably London. It’s always a risky move when you tamper with much loved staple fixtures especiaclly such an iconic fixture as the Black Cab. My advice is that nothing should be tampered with unless it can be improved. Now with that said I would like to express my feelings about the new London taxi in these simple words – WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT!!!!!!!?  Please don’t piss me off, who is playing games with me right now. Like really? KMT In fact i’m done talking about this now because i’m getting heated lol.

Only 2 years after their first outing, Sylvester Stallone & co are back once again for the eagerly anticipated The Expendables 2. The unique selling point that is the coming together of tough guys from era’s past and present failed to click last time out, but while that first effort may have been lacklustre, the sequel succeeds in delivering a thick slice of fun cinematic entertainment. If you’re a fan of action movies, this is a must-see.
