Oliver Spencer is all about combining traditional British tailoring and modern fashion; as per their lookbook for their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection… mission accomplished. I would say the outerwear and knits definitely did Oliver a favour, the first two from the imagery below are standout pieces and quite frankly the styling is very similar to French Connection’s at the moment (which is a good thing). Also the vintage inducing red and blue backgrounds that they chose for the shoot, they’re very bold but not too distracting- Not quite how I would have done it but actually I think it really works with the line’s 1970’s art-house direction. The collection is available for purchase online as of now. More images from the lookbook after the break.
