Music Video | Sigur Rós – Dauðalogn

Otherworldly and ethereal were the words I used to describe this Eargasmic track from Sigúr Rós. It’s just magical. As part of their promotion for the Valtari project, the Icelandic band gave budgets to 8 film makers to produce whatever they felt was fitting to their respective song. Henry Jun Wah Lee and I are clearly on the same wavelength as his film for Dauðalogn consists of slow fluid shots of the starry sky and some of nature’s beauty which include landscapes and different textures. To many, this may come across as a tad boring but I suggest you put away your phones and full screen this video for 6:43 . Enjoy.

I think that’s one of the primary reasons I love this band; their music helps me zone out of the hectic, always connected city lifestyle. So relaxing, thank you Sigur Rós.
