This week’s Throwback track is by an artist that is immensely respected for their talent but yet another one that has been unable to lead a stable life in the public eye. This song was the debut single from her debut album and won them two Grammys- boasting a much needed positive message for that time period, the track became a commercial success when it shot to number 1 on Billboard Hot 100.  Find out after the break.
