The external completion of The Shard will be officially celebrated tonight with a laser light show. It’s a stand-out structure in that part of London, almost look like it landed from Space/Transformers movie. The 309-metre tall building aka the tower of Babel will shoot out coloured lasers to 15 of London’s landmarks such as the Gherkin, London Eye, Tower Bridge with a live performance from the London Philharmonic Orchestra soundtracking it all. So make sure you can see the tower at 10:15pm when the illumination begins. If you’re not in town, you can stream it live via the Shard’s website and Facebook page. Preview video on the flipside.
