I did say that I’d do this on a regular basis when I wrote this post a while or so ago but that never happened, obviously. Time to fix up, starting off with a quick post before I head out and when it comes to menswear style icons – there is no one better than Steve McQueen. Steve died over 30 years ago and he’s still embraced by the style world and widely recognised as one of the best dressed men to grace the planet. He’s one of the reasons several heritage brands continue to to stay popular, he provided many of the tipping point that they very much needed. Style for me is all about being effortlessly cool and being completely comfortable in whatever you wear, and he had that. More on the reverse.

He still stands out for me amongst the many modern day style icons as his looks were so SIMPLE. No overload of accessories and layering, just basics and a nice jacket with a pair of jeans and nice shoes.
The Baracuta G9 Harrington. Class.
Rosewood. McQueen taught Yeezy.
He even makes gym look cool.
Navajo inspired knitwear? and a Parka jacket.
Print tees before you and I were born.
The king of cool that’s for sure. If you want to see more imagery of Steve - click here.
