A little late but hey! I left home around 7am on Saturday to head up north to shoot a wedding, got back around 11pm and guess what the first thing I did was? watch the Man of Steel trailer. It’s epic, almost it’s own short film, easily better than a lot short films that I’ve come across in my time. You can definitely see the Nolan effect in the 1:36 second trailer, has the cinematic feel to it. The teaser features beautifully bokeh‘d clips that don’t really give much away; the narration highlights the Kryptonian‘s purpose on the planet and what direction the film will be taking to explain the story. Oh wait, I forgot to tell you about the music. I’m sure it’s from LOTR and it’s just perfect for this. Amped for the film, DC Comics usually make better films than Marvel. Well aside from Green Lantern. In Nolan, we trust.
