Seeing as today isn’t a working Monday, I’d like to dedicate this Dope Quote post to the recent graduates. I came across this quote from American TV host Larry King earlier this week and it reminded me of my days as an intern. Most of you have probably finished university, relaxing at home and pondering what to do next. Well, I sincerely advise you to be still and figure out what you’re going to do next. If  you think going into a career job is a little too ‘intense’ for you right now and reckon working in on a retail shop floor….standing around for hours is better? Slap yourself. Go for an internship or better yet, make looking for a 9-5 your 9-5. Whatever you decide to do I urge you not to procrastinate and get side-tracked, it’s easy to get into a routine and lose track of your purpose. Be prepared to listen – when you do, you learn. Absorb like a sponge. I might actually write up a post regarding work soon, it’s nearing my one year anniversary of full-time work. Eek.
