Typography is a key part of my skills set. I don’t know where or how I managed to develop it. I used to struggle adding it to my wallpaper designs in the past, tended to sway into the ‘doesn’t need type, the piece will do the talking by itself’. Typography can make or break designs, whether its a website or a little business card. What Charis Tsevis has done is next, taken typography to a level where it makes up the main aspect of the design and not just the title. If you haven’t guessed it by now, it’s all been inspired by the upcoming London 2012 games. My only gripe, definitely a personal opinion; I wish the font choices were better. The artwork is impressive, must have taken hours upon hours to get all the shades! More on the reverse.

The artist states this was a side project that Chris did on the side over a couple of months. I still think the font choice is weak but that’s me. I can’t complain, simply don’t have the patience to create something like this using type!
