Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

Framed | An iPhone 4S Short Story

posted by on 31/10/2011

Not that I am due for upgrade anytime soon, but I was amongst the group of people that were slightly disappointed about the fact that Apple deprived the world of the iPhone 5, however after watching this short film- it seems the iPhone 4S isn’t that much of a cop out….well this along with the “life changing” Siri. What you see before you has been shot on an iPhone 4S in its entirety, the 3 minute film was edited using Final Cut Pro 7.

The short film features a photographer walking around in the woods (as they do) snapping photographs when he comes across a lonesome woman, whom he can only see through his lens. Of course the story is cheesy but it’s a great demonstration of  Mael and co.s creativity in terms of filming, editing and photography. I think the quality of the film is first class, very smooth filming considering it has been shot on a phone. Also the colour grading (Magic bullet looks), works really well with the location of the film, especially at the end with the sunset. Watch the film below.
