Benja Bangkok Table Review

posted by on 16/08/2011

Benja Bangkok Table is a small authentic Thai restaurant just off the back of Carnaby Street on Beak Street;  the restaurant offers a fair range of starters, main meals, exotic desserts and cocktails. Last week we dropped by to review the place and loved it, best Thai food I have had in a very long while. Read the review after the break.

Apple plans for new HQ: "Spaceship" Campus, Cupertino CA

posted by on 16/08/2011

So I just found pictures of my new (dream) place of employment in 2015. The 175 acre Apple “Spaceship” campus in Cupertino, California, will be the headquarters for the super-brand, set to be completed in 2015. Tech-giants Facebook and Google (as well as Skype) often share proposed plans for their new offices on design websites such as Coolhunter, and as a fan of both tech and design – I like to check out the ‘coolest’ companies and their offices – however the Apple “Spaceship” just knocked cool out of the park! Hit the jump for more photos and info

Live music events have become quite a major feature of my life over the last couple of months. With events such as Wired and I Love Live i’m able to indulge myself in the surrroundings of live music and good vibe and now I’m happy to announce that another live music event can be added to the list of great places I will regularly attend. Showcase Live is set to relaunch on September 12th at Under The Bridge. Showcase Live has been an integral starting point for the careers of some of pops biggest names, including JLS and Jessie J and their partnership with Under The Bridge is sure to bring many more household names to light in the future. Topman | Arthur Leather Shoes

posted by on 15/08/2011

Topman‘s suggested ‘must-haves‘ for this autumn include a pair of brogue patterned shoes that I have been meaning to buy, however these tend to be quite expensive for a real quality pair- we’re talking from about £90 upwards! The cheaper alternatives come with rubber soles which looks quite cheap and wear out rather quickly. These ones retail for just £65 and I have to say the quality is great and they won’t kill your feet either! the “Arthur Leather Shoes” come in three colours: tan, burgundy and of course black- I prefer the tan. The shoes are available on the Topman website, follow the link after the break.

A Black & White Day

posted by on 15/08/2011

I’ve had a lovely weekend, it’s good to take a step away from the sitting-behind-the-MacBook-Pro-all-day-lifestyle and actually go out & explore. I’ve just made myself sound like a loser right? No I work full time these days so time is of the essence, after work I’m usually dead. I miss the days where I just walk around taking photographs instead of attending university lectures. So I decided to do just that, well not quite. I was planning to head to the cinema with the other half and chill around West India Quays area. I don’t really get to spend much time with her as we both work :( me on the camera every 5 minutes didn’t help. Decided to stick with black & white photographs for the remainder of this month. Have a gander at the images on the reverse.
