BMW i Concept Series

posted by on 31/07/2011

I’ve not been one to jump of this new hybrid/electric car craze however BMW have released concept visuals to compliment their new BMW i range of electric cars. The BMW i concept series comprises of the BMW i3 and i8, both cars see the German carmaker move in a different direction in terms of design and vision. Both cars look pretty amazing and would be sure to sell a bundle should BMW choose to turn these concepts into reality.

The exhibition will be running till the 19th so make sure you head down. I missed it too but I had a good excuse! Here’s the lookbook for the collection which I jacked off his site, just had to share it. The brand has come a long way from the first drop. Take a closer look at the tees from the collaboration with Puck Collective and TIMC after the cut. For more information on the exhibition – click here.

Soka Afrika | Film Review

posted by on 31/07/2011

I mentioned in my last post that I would be doing some reviews of the films I saw at the Kick & Screening football film fest in New York last week. Well, here is my first one, and a very powerful one to start off. Soka Afrika is a powerful film about the journey of two young African players who dream of a better life as professional footballers in Europe. The film brings attention to the common dream and journey that all young footballers share to become professionals. However a more poignant reality that the film so powerfully conveys is about the trafficking of African players into Europe by crooked agents. These agents give the players false hope, capitalizing on their dreams to their gain and then leave them stranded in a foreign land. More on Soka Afrika after the jump

T W E N T Y T H R E E

posted by on 30/07/2011

Before we start, I recommend you read my post from last year –  click here. Adulthood has slapped me straight in the face in the last 2 months. I believed last year was my coming of age, quite funny how wrong I was. I feel I’ve grown up a lot since then, clearly changed my perception of the world and direction. My outlook on life is a hell of a lot different. Goals? Still the same. More on the reverse.

When I Went To The Olympic Park (Sort Of) #1YearToGo

posted by on 29/07/2011

Day off work. Sleep in? Nope. Up at 7, reply to emails then venture down to King’s Cross by 10 for Eurostar‘s #1YearToGo event for competition winners and bloggers like myself. This is probably my only opportunity to visit the Olympic Stadium, so I damn sure wasn’t going to miss out on it! P.S. I’m writing the post as the day goes by! So apologies in advance if my tenses are all over the place.

Urban Outfitters Sample Sale

posted by on 29/07/2011

THIS. I will be there at 10am, maybe 12pm. Why? It’s about 20 metres away from my office, I can levitate there from my desk and be back in a jiffy like road runner. I’m Indian, as soon as we see SALE – our eyes and bank accounts light up. Urban Outfitters will be hosting a summer sample sale in the basement of Great Titchfield House starting on Thursday and finishing on the Friday. I highly recommend you find sometime to attend, Urban Outfitters usually stocks great brands and isn’t always the most bank account friendly prices. So a sample sale is definitely welcomed. Make sure you take cash with you! #payday More information on the reverse.
