Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Have a look at the interview with the beautiful ladies and the video for new single ‘Perfume’ after the cut.

ASOS Sale Preview

posted by on 20/06/2011

Woii. Not all of us can afford to look like the dudes parading their exquisite sartorial flair in Pitti Uomo. I love my sales, discounts and promotional codes – everyone should! saving a bit of money is always bless. Top online retailer ASOS are set to launch their sale next week and to build up the excitement, they’ve released a Facebook app which allows you queue jump to the front of the sale queue and get a preview of the sales before everyone else. All you have to do to get points is to play a few games, invite your friends and tweet about the sale preview. Such a clever social media campaign and one that has been real effective over the past few days as I’ve seen so much ASOS posts on my FB feed! More on the reverse.

Michelle Ellis' The Little Things

posted by on 19/06/2011

Canadian photographer Michelle Ellis captures the little things in life that are often not documented. Her photography style is cute, light, airy and colourful. The type that would get millions of reblogs on Tumblr – all the young girls in love would dig this. I love the simplicity of this, no real fancy camera lens or equipment required – simple lens, cute props to bring out the warm fuzzy feeling. Guess how old she is? 16! It’s an interesting to see her take on the world, I wonder if her photography will be this pleasant in a few years time once she’s exposed to the real world of unemployment and student debts. *evil laugh* More photographs on the reverse.

ThisIsMackTV | Celebrity Beef

posted by on 19/06/2011

These have been out for quite some time now but we havn’t posted a fuckery video in a long while so I thought why not! You may or may not have come across ThisisMack, a channel on youtube quickly attracting a lot of attention because of his witty and highly amusing hypothetical beef videos mainly between Beyonce and Ciara.  Other videos include the likes of Kelly Rowland, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and even Michael Jackson. These videos kill us every time we watch them, there are some spectacular lines in these such as MJ’s “im sorry…who are you” and Ciara reference to Rihanna as a “Mothaf**kin crayon”.Wow and the voices… this guy went in. I wonder if he’ll do one with Christopher Brown and Frank Ocean! Watch the videos after the cut

Student Film Festival London

posted by on 19/06/2011

Hello student film makers! One of my friends from UAL has set up a Student Film Festival to showcase the array of talent in the student film word, she’s hoping to bridge the gap between the student world of film making and the professional world. What better way to get your name out there, ey? Students are one of a few people that can create high quality films on an extremely low-budget. They have all the equipment available at university and we all know they can make damn good film. So the festival is an great chance for the very best talent from all over the world to compete with each other and create the best films they possibly can. With the guidance of industry professionals, production companies and fellow talented students, this opportunity is a fantastic platform for many to show off their skills. Hop on after the cut for more details.

Real Lives of Superheroes

posted by on 18/06/2011

Literally just got home, I haven’t even bothered taking my shoes off. Straight onto the mac to write a quick post before I KO into sleepy land. This first week of full time work and blogging has taken it out of me. In fact ignore the last 2 lines as I konked out before I could even complete the post, still feel insanely tired but have to head out and cover an event today. I wish I was a superhero with an infinite energy supply, preferably Superman. Photographer Gregg Segal followed around the famous men and women who parade around Hollywood dressed in Superhero outfits. It’s their day job. No joke. He follows them around to capture the contrast between the crazy and dull. It’s so weird seeing them doing normal human tasks – eat, photograph, wash clothes, smoke (not normal humans, smoking is for losers) and so on. Peep the rest of the collection after the cut.

Pain. Passion. Poetry – Finders Keepers

posted by on 18/06/2011

Have you ever thought you were so right that even if you were wrong you’d deny it?  Story of my life sometimes, refusing to accept that I am sometimes – most times in the wrong – this poem is my acceptance that I am not always right.
