Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

GANT Rugger 2011 Pre-Fall “The New Haven Math Club” Collection

posted by on 21/05/2011

This post has been a draft for about a week now, you all know why but I’m back to regular posting from tomorrow. Need a good night’s sleep (3 hours+). Gant Rugger‘s last lookbook video was easily one of, if not the best from the previous season. This one doesn’t have the encapsulating soundtrack but the voiceover and theme definitely go hand in hand with the clothing. Preppy look never goes out and GANT Rugger have pulled it off well with a collection consisting of sweaters, shirts, slim fit blazers, shorts and a few tees.

Hungry Beast's The Offline Social Network

posted by on 20/05/2011

Hilarious! Another one I’m late to post because of obvious reasons. Australian TV show Hungry Beast have released a video portraying what the world’s biggest social network Facebook would be like in person. It’s a hilarious watch  and a scary reality check – we wouldn’t share half the information we do on there with random folk we meet on the streets so why do we do it on there? Well I personally don’t, I’m a FB geek who knows how to use privacy settings. If you don’t know how to use the properly, please click here. Hop on after the cut for the video.

Flashback Friday – DJ Luck & MC Neat

posted by on 20/05/2011

These guys were the sh*t back in the early 00′s and late 90′s. Do you really like it? is it is it wicked? Hahaha sorry couldn’t help it. I’ve been in a weird mood all day since finishing university. I miss Garage like this – Sorry but Dubstep is dope but doesn’t come close to this. You should have seen the way the crowd reacted last week at the Mos Def when the first track from after the cut came on. It’s one of my all time favourite Garage tracks but for some reason I was never able to properly figure out the lyrics till 2 days ago. Listen after the cut.

340. The Golden Hind | LDN.365

posted by on 20/05/2011

Oh wow, 25 days till this series is over. Here’s a photograph I took earlier of The Golden Hind by London Bridge Station. It’s apparently Sir Francis Drake’s, I’m guessing its a replica (well duh!). If you don’t know who he is, please gwaarn to Wikipedia and educate yourself on the Spanish Armada. Or go play Drake’s Uncharted on the PS3. Legendary explorer.

Beyonce – Run The World (Girls) | Music Video

It’s finally here. No words, no commentary. Just hop on after the cut and watch, drool, & learn. The last one if you’re Gaga that is, this is how it is done. Beyoncé is back and the song is a grower. LIONS!? RAWR. *back to final assignment* P.S. Whoever photoshopped that image above needs a slap! the flames are awful – so badly blend in. Video on the reverse.

339. Blazing Sunset | LDN.365

posted by on 19/05/2011

Blazin up the place, blazin up the flame, Ever blazin’. Some Sean Paul to intro in this post, it’s the last LDN.365 before final hand-ins later today. We shall be FREE MEN at the end of the day! I make it sound like prison but it damn sure felt like it for the past few days, being locked away in front of a Macbook…writing papers. The sun is setting on our university degrees! #cheese. I took this outside my house, dig the firey colours. Almost looks like a painting.

Kobe’s Breakdown

posted by on 19/05/2011

Of course, as a basketball player, I’m closely following the NBA finals. Well, not so much anymore considering my Celtics lost to the Miami Heat. Nevertheless, I was overjoyed when the LA Lakers lost. I’ve hated the Lakers since I started playing basketball (four years now), and for what reason? More after the cut.

posted by on 19/05/2011

I’m on a quick 30 minute break from dissertation writing and I honestly feel bad for not posting as much as usual so have decided to do this giveaway. This one is pretty special, I know all you G-Shock loving hipsters will enter! I don’t want to give this watch away haha but I don’t see myself ever wearing something so blinged out. I don’t think it fits my personal style anyway, so hop on after the cut and answer one simple question.

Custom Hermes Vans Slip-On Sneakers

posted by on 18/05/2011

I have never in my life owned or wore a pair of Vans, this is something that I have been meaning to change for a long while. That change may come sooner than expected as I have finally found some that have properly grabbed my attention. The only problem is i’m not to sure if they are on sale. Stylist Robert Verdi has come up with the idea to add a series of vintage Hermes silk scarves to the classic Vans slip on sneaker silhouette. Each sneaker has a different Hermes silk scaf upper complementing the recognisable sole of the Vans shoe. Im not sure why these have grabbed my attention so much, it’s probably because they are so different to any other Vans i’ve seen before  but like I said earlier I am unaware if they are on sale or not. My guess is that they are not. See the variation of styles after the cut.
