Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

345. The Anti-Libya Protests | LDN.365

posted by on 25/05/2011

I wish I carried my zoom lens with me yesterday for a better shot of the protests. In the end I had to stick with my standard lens for this shot but I like the way it came out, almost tilt-shift esque with all the movement in this image. The traffic passing by Buckingham Palace, the tourists and the anti-Libya protests outside the Palace gates during President Obama‘s visit. I don’t really know much about the politics, read more on the radical Islamic protesters and EDL clash here.

Mortal Kombat Legacy – Episode 7 | Scorpion & Sub Zero Part 1

posted by on 25/05/2011

Dayum. It’s almost 3am, most people are asleep and here’s me awake in bed hyped after watching the latest webisode of Mortal Kombat Legacy. The more I watch of this show, the more angry I get at the fact each episode is only 7-10 minutes long. I don’t understand why none of the TV stations hasn’t picked this up for a full length show or even a movie. The editing, acting, production, sounds and the CGI are off the hook, definitely worthy of full show! sorry I’m actually falling asleep as I write this post. Right on the note, I ask you all to click read more and watch the episode. Good night.

Lacoste 'Stealth' Ebury Pack

posted by on 25/05/2011

Not long ago I stated that i’ve never own a pair of Vans before but had been intrigued by the Hermes scarf wrapped ones by Robert Verdi (see here) however we all know that those are not a realistic addition to my sneaker collection. I was surfing the net as always and came across the Lacoste ‘Stealth’ Ebury Pack which I think is a perfect alternative to Vans. I particularly like the blue and yellow variant which means I might just have to whip out the credit card. Check out the pack after the cut.

oki-ni presents THE GAME

posted by on 25/05/2011

This is innovation. Oki-Ni are always stepping their game up in terms of creativity and this is their latest offering, The Game. It’s an interactive shopping experience with a video featuring a fully-shoppable moving editorial. It’s simple in terms of filming but really nicely done and the styling is on point. I love the beat, the build is perfect for a video like this. Props to the creative talents of Antony Crook, Ridley Scott’s RSA/Black Dog production company and wireWAX for pulling off this new shopping experience. It’s definitely a step forward in the online shopping experience world. The video was impeccably well styled by Glenn Kitson – a brand consultant, creative director and stylist who has collaborated with them many times in the past. I just realised that he has emailed me in the past! :| Why have I just clocked on who he is?! #smallworld

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Trailer

posted by on 25/05/2011

RAH *picks up jaw off floor*. I’m not even a big C.O.D. fan but the trailer for the next game is mindblowingly good. It looks like a film! and its set in New York, England, Paris & Berlin which is way different to the previous games that have all featured places in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. I only purchase the game every 2 years as the developers Infinity Ward make much better games than Treyarch in my opinion. I’m guessing the storyline will be continue from the previous game and now the World has plunged into war. Yikes.

Pain. Passion. Poetry – Moments Of Silence, Please.

posted by on 25/05/2011

Have you ever sat in silence? Like literally just sat in a room, in complete silence?  Try it. I sometimes like to lie in a dark room, and consciously make myself unconscious.  Somewhat a meditative state, you know.  Times where I can think about one thing and one thing only instead of the thousands of thoughts that run through my mind in a normal second. More on the reverse.

Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon Trailer

posted by on 24/05/2011

With anticipation and excitement growing over the new instalment in the  Transformers franchise Paramount Pictures have release the second trailer for the latest movie in the series. Transformers 3 directed by Michael Bay, starring Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and Megan Fox‘s replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley hit theatres July 1st. Are you excited to see it? Personally I feel that Transformers 2 had so much fast paced action that my eyes couldn’t keep up at times so if they slow it down a bit and allow us to see everything with out feeling the need to watch the movie again then i’ll be happy. People weren’t happy with the addition of the twins in the last movie but I think that they added levity and comedy to the proceedings so it’s unfortunate that they have been axed from the movie.
