Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

323. Silvertown, Ghost Town? | LDN.365

posted by on 03/05/2011

After my hair cut earlier today, I ventured down to Silvertown which comes under the London borough of Newham. I hadn’t been to this area of the borough till a month ago and I’ve lived in this borough for most of my life. I tried to portray the ‘ghost town’ feel this place had to it using the photograph. The place is DEAD – it was once one of London’s most popular industrial districts but now there is only a few factories left. The biggest one being the Tate&Lyle sugar factory, you’ll see it in tomorrow’s 365.

Yin And Yang On Tumblr

posted by on 02/05/2011

17 days till me, Yang, DJB and Brady finish off our degrees once and for all. I should be focusing on work instead of writing posts on here but hey, got to feed the loyal readers. My never-ending procrastination resulted in me creating a Tumblr blog and linking it to my dormant Niran7.com domain. Swag. More on the reverse.

Cindy Not Barbie

posted by on 02/05/2011

OK one of Yin‘s findings whilst dissertation writing and it has earned a place in our collection of fuckery videos. Her name is Cindy and so far I’ve gathered that shes nuts; her video called “20 Stone & Wearing Battyriders . . . . ARE YOU F*CKING MAD?!” had me in tears, just killed me this morning #FiDEAD. She just started her channel on youtube 2 weeks ago and shes already attracting loads of attention-I like how she switches between abround 3 different accents during her complaint about people wearing ‘batty riders’ during the summer, one minute she is well spoken, next minute shes carribean and then shes african! I don’t know what’s more amusing, her lack of remorse for her delivery or the actual the content!? You decide; In the video after the cut watch her shocking rant, also a link to her channel.

My-Wardrobe AW11 Collection Press Day Recap

posted by on 02/05/2011

This should have been up a lot sooner but better late than never right! We went down to Eastcastle street where Mywardrobe held press day for their AW11 collection. Nice and simple collection this time, I was most into the bags and the jackets. I recently developed a liking for Barbour so was expecting to see some pieces from them but I didn’t see any. We took loads of photos from the collection, I’ll kick of with the jackets.

Rachel Bilson For Magnum | By Karl Lagerfeld

posted by on 02/05/2011

I love women like Rachel Bilson. It’s a shame her career hasn’t blown up since her OC days, she can act unlike many in Hollywood right about now. It’s probably down to the fact she doesn’t do nude scenes. I like that, a woman with self-respect and not wanting to sell her body for success. It’s nice to see her again on TV even if it’s just for a Magnum commercial. It’s not just any other advert when its directed by Uncle Karl Lagerfeld. More on the reverse.

322. Royal Courts of Justice | LDN.365

posted by on 02/05/2011

Hogwarts LOL jk it’s the Royal Courts of Justice. It’s probably the creepiest building in Central London. It houses the court of appeal of England and Wales. The courts are open to the public though. I dig the architecture though I haven’t actually paid a visit. Will do later this week hopefully and get some shots from inside for 365. More tomorrow.

The Aveder Outfit – Redefining Street Style

posted by on 02/05/2011

I really didn’t want to share this site with anyone, it’s certainly one of the Internet’s hidden gems that I’ve discovered a few weeks back. The Aveder Outfit is a New York based street style blog but the way it is laid out is what sets it apart from many of its counterparts. Cleon Grey has managed to portray street style photography in an unique new manner. To be honest, I was starting to get bored of all the traditional street style blogs and most of the photography. This site is refreshing with its spread layout – each one immaculately put together with the perfect choice of typography, photography and sometimes even music & video. Most of all, it’s a great representation of New York fashion. More on the reverse.

Wahaca Competition Winner

posted by on 01/05/2011

The competition is finally over and I’ve already picked a winner randomly from my inbox. My phone has been going OFF every 5 minutes for the past 2-3 days with entries, madness. Some people have entered a lot of times, some even from the brothers, sisters, mothers emails as well. I can tell from the surnames! haha. Hop on after the cut to find out if you won a meal for 2 at Wahaca.

321. Vinyl Factory | LDN.365

posted by on 01/05/2011

Vinyl Factory is an event space located in Soho, just behind Carnaby Street. I’ve been there a fair few times for various press and blogger events in the past year, it’s HUGE! the main gallery is 4,500 square foot in size so it’s just perfect for a party. I do love the artwork on the floor outside, it’s what grabbed my attention initially for the photograph.
