This summer, I will get into wedding photography on way or another. A couple of great photographers have said they’ll let me assist them on wedding shoots so I can get the jist of it and to see if I can actually hack it. I can’t wait! it’s going to be fun shooting 2 people who are madly in love with each other, capturing the happiness will be fun. Critsey Rowe is a master of the art and she’s always redefined the way it’s done. These are without a doubt the most creative wedding photography shots I’ve seen! so different to many I’ve seen in the past. Who else shoots a couple under water? Madness. More on the reverse.
We live in a time where anyone with a SLR apparently automatically becomes a photographer and a lot of people get conned by these phony photographers. Look at their portfolios before you hire them! A lot of them, especially the ones who photograph Indian weddings are really average. Beginners at best with a decent camera and lens. You can have all the technical tools but if you don’t have a creative mind or eye for photography then blah, no use. This photographer breaks all the rules, nothing typical about her work.
Saying all that, I still want Chaz Cruz to photograph my wedding one day.
