Caribbean Cruising – Haiti & Jamaica | Royal Caribbean

It’s not often that you can claim to have woken up in a different country four days in a row but that’s exactly what happened when Adam and I took to the seas and embarked on our first full length cruise, courtesy of Royal Caribbean. A quick plane ride (please note the sarcasm as this plane […]

Desigual 'Mochila Militar' Bag

posted by on 26/04/2011

I’m not particularly a huge fan of Desigual however I came across this bag today which I would now like to buy. The Mochila Militar bag sports an army inspired colour palette: coffee and khaki with dark brown leather straps. The bag is stylish but roomy with two side pockets and another on the front, While its a  perfect supplement to complete a casual look I’m not sure if it’s laptop friendly. £109 s not a small price to pay for a bag but its not too bad for its kind.

Bershka Men's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

posted by on 26/04/2011

I’m really impressed by this latest collection by Spanish brand Bershka , not only is the photography and vibrant colours refreshing for the brand. It’s youthful and bright collection is perfect for the summer. I’ve been into the store once or twice but never bought anything, the clothes were a little too tacky for my liking. However this collection is dope, I would certainly rock the look above. Did you know Bershka are owned by the same company who own Zara and Pull & Bear? I’m getting Zara vibes from this collection, unlike Zara, Bershka target a more youthful and young audience. I definitely think they’ve got it spot on with this. More on the reverse.

How Are Mac & PC Users Different?

posted by on 26/04/2011

Came across the funny ass infographic comparing the Mac user with the PC user. Researchers over at Hunch have gathered data from over 700,000 of its website visitors onto a really well constructed illustration highlighting how different both sets of users are. This is bound to kick start some arguments between the g33ks. Although I’ve had issues with my Macbook Pro in the past, I’m Mac-for-life. Seriously once you go mac, you don’t want to go back. So much easier. Some of the differences they’ve listed are hilarious, 80% of Mac users are more likely to be vegetarian. Rubbish! Have a gander at the rest on the reverse.

Well the extended weekend is over. I haven’t soaked up the sun or been to a BBQ, damn you final year! I’ve been at home for most part of the weekend, sigh. I took this a few weeks back when the Spring season first started to kick in. I just love London‘s architecture, don’t you?

WongFu – Strangers, Again | Short Film

posted by on 25/04/2011

This is a little random but I just had to share this beautiful short film my other half sent me last night. It’s already a viral hit with over 3 million views in just a matter of days. It’s highlights the key stages in every relationship, where and how each stage develops is ultimately up to each person. Often we can’t avoid the inevitable end, I’m sure you can all relate to this video. It’s funny how strangers become friends and then at the end of a relationship….you become strangers again. It’s 16 minutes long but trust me it touches on something that so many people fail to see and are in denial about. It’s definitely well shot and edited, watch it on the reverse.

Adidas SLVR 2011 Fall/Winter Footwear Collection

posted by on 25/04/2011

I don’t know why but I have never really checked for sneakers from the Adidas SLVR collection even though I used to be (and probably still am) a huge Adidas fanatic when it came to footwear. As we hit summer and the days get much much warmer the fashion industry turns its attentions to the following season. Take a look at the Adidas SLVR footwear collection taken from their upcoming 2011 Fall/Winter assortment.

315. Royal Courts of Justice Clock Tower | LDN.365

posted by on 25/04/2011

Anyone seen the Royal Courts of Justice building in Holborn? It’s CREEPY. It reminds me of Hogwarts, not that I’ve been to Dumbledore’s crib. It’s been around since 1882 – this is one of the things I love about this country, they know how to look after their buildings. Back home in India, this building would be in tatters by now. Mind you the British Empire ruined most of the country, sigh. Let’s not get into that. I may go running after the rubies!

Philip Bloom's Vegas to London Timelapse

posted by on 25/04/2011

We have gone a bit crazy with the time lapse posts recently. It’s mainly because we don’t have the skills to do them ourselves and it’s ogling over these spectacular visual creations is another form of procrastination from university work. This doesn’t top the mountain timelapse Yang posted a few days back but it’s still dope. Philip Bloom shot this timelapse on his plane journey from Vegas to London, every little detail has been captured. My favourite bit is the lava-esque lights above the city, simply beautiful. Peep it on the reverse.

Top Selection: Shorts 2011

posted by on 24/04/2011

Funny this morning my friend and I were wondering how long our ‘amazing’ weather would last for… we soon found out. Cool. Well since the weather started to warm up I’ve been saying I don’t having anything appropriate for it so I started looking around. Found a few cool pieces (mainly shorts) that my final student loan would love to eat up!
